	The SitStand is the ultimate on-stage accessory for ventriloquists. Developed in conjunction with noted performers Matt Bailey, Jeff Golc, and Steve Petra, with the contributions of Steve Axtell, the SitStand is a portable, sturdy platform and seating surface for use with vent figures of all shapes and sizes. It is built by famed magic stand builder Christopher Weed. The SitStand consists of a flat horizontal seating surface for your figure which measures 12" x 12", and a horizontal surface facing the audience with adjustable positions for the included footrest. This allows your figure to sit in a natural position with their feet properly supported, while also allowing a comfortable position for the performer. Underneath the seating surface is a rear facing soft-sided compartment which folds flat for transport but is ideal during the performance for small props and measures 12" x 12" x 12" when opened. This compartment may also be rotated to have the opening for right or left facing access. Underneath the top board are screws to remove, allowing you to reposition it to your liking. . The adjustable footrest fits into slots on the front of the SitStand and is quickly adjusted on the fly to accommodate figures with different-size legs. There are three positions, and the footrest is upholstered in a black Velcro-friendly material so that you can affix your figure's feet to the footrest for more lifelike movements. The entire SitStand folds flat, thanks to innovative 270 degree hinges, and weighs less than 6 lbs. Folded flat, it's approx. 4 inches thick and easily tucks into your case for transport. Our durable 1/2" solid birch construction will hold up to years of use. Handy 1/2" threaded connector on the bottom fits our Ultimate Base for a complete package. Ultimate Base is extremely stable, with a large spread, and sturdy design. When collapsed, measures 26" x 4" x 4" and weighs approx. 4 lbs. When in use, the adjustable stand and top raises anywhere up to 48" and legs occupy a floor space 24" x 24" x 24". Instant setup.
