Remote Control Magic Drawing Board Set

Great news i am now the UK children's entertainer of the Year 2004, the show was fantastic and everything went according to plan, i was approached by so many magicians after the show all saying that they thought i would definitely win.....as for the Remote Control Drawing Board, i was pretending it was a normal board, and then walked away!! It was then a fantastic sound off over 600 magicians all gasping in disbelief at the same time, it was out of this world, after the show everyone that come up to me wanted to know about the remote board, so i have directed them all to your web site.

(....David also performed with our
Real McCaw Parrot in his act.)

Two words to describe it ....
FAN - TASTIC ! .

The board is very well made and also not too heavy, The eraser - transmitter is Pure Genius, and not what I was expecting at all, it is very easy to use and very subtle. The case that it comes in very professional and looks great, and from a performers point of view is excellent & practical. The Large easel is very good and light weight, The whole unit is exceptional. I used it in my show this evening and it went down a storm!! Loud cheers and gasps of amazement from everyone , it was brilliant, everyone commented after the show!"

Performer Comments - Audience Reactions!
Kids love the Drawing Board
Bob wows them with the Magic Drawing board
This is probably the number one thing in my shows with kids and adults, even preschool. It is GREAT!!!!!

It has been a real hit. Even the adult shows I have used it in. It is so much fun to watch the reactions.

It was just as popular with the all adult audience as it was with the children's' audience. Steve you did an excellent job as usual!"

(These photos of the kids reacting to Bob Shimer using the Remote Board says it all!)

"The "board" wowed 'em. And I mean, "WOWED 'EM". To the extent that I had more than a dozen people appear backstage after the show ...and all they wanted to talk about was the Remote Magic Drawing Board. ... The booker for a local Franch Quarter cabaret that I've been trying to book my one man show into for two years just happened to be in the audience that night. Yep, you guessed it.... We shook hands on a deal for me to appear at his club. And I'm firmly convinced that it's due to the Remote Magic Drawing Board.

It's now one of my favorite "bits" I do on stage. ... I love it. It's that simple. The "action" on it is amazing... much more than what you might expect (certainly - honestly - more than I expected). The mouth action is precise. You can make it speak fast...slow...with a sort of half-closed mouth "mumble" to a full-fledged "yell". And the "movements" are virtually silent.

Was it expensive? Well...I guess that's a relative term. It cost more than most soft puppets, but less than most hard figures. Don't let the inital cost frighten you... it's a fine piece of equipment that cost a lot of money to produce. And believe me...you'll get your money's worth out of it in no time at all (assuming you're actually doing shows and not setting your equipment up in a corner to simply display it).

No doubt....the RMDB gets my 110% endorsement. It's sort of like my AmEx card now... "I don't leave home without it."

JOHN KIMMONS and the REMOTE BOARD  (UK)

John Kimmons from the video above says... "... I'm delighted with the reaction it received!!

I'm very impressed with the whole outfit and I have big plans to extend the routine and have the board making comments throughout the show!

I had two bookings today from people who saw my act at a local club on Saturday night and both of them mentioned the drawing board!! Which goes to prove my theory that a good prop pays for itself very quickly!!

I am so glad that I decided to invest in your original board ...and I figured that anything that created such an impression was worth upgrading!!

Thanks again for a wonderful prop."

John Kimmons - The Magical Ventriloquist

Awesome!! Fantastic!! Amazing!! How did you do that???

Those were the words I heard from the "ADULTS" after performing with the Remote Drawing Board Saturday at an anniversary party. The kids were speechless, just simply amazed...

I set up the board and told the audience I recently joined a drawing class and wanted to attempt to draw the husband. After I finished drawing my crude attempt, a response from the audience was, "I should keep going to class."

When the eyes moved and the board starting speaking, eyes went a popping and mouths agasping. Closed the routine with the board singing a song to the wife. Most likely they heard the applause across the street.

I plan to use a 5-7 minute routine with the board in all of my shows to ensure "Woody & Friends" are remembered.

Steve,
you've heard before, and I add my praise to the wonderful creator you are, and the great products you make.

Kevin Johnson amazes all with his Remote Controlled Board at LegoLand
Its a great piece to use in the show. I get so excited as the time counts down towards bringing it out, then revel in every second of the reactions it gets.

You are a legend for creating the drawing board, then escalating it to this level. Pure Genius!

Karl Jeffery

The school staff was VERY amused and amazed!

The control unit Steve devised is remarkable in several ways. First it's appearance and function as an eraser is brilliant. Second, the controls (switch on - pupils out - pupils move - and mouth drop) are so easy to use, it's as if they were designed by your own hand. And I'm using them backwards (left-handed).

The responsiveness of the pupil and mouth movement leaves nothing to be desired. I can get a subltle quick shallow drop of the mouth or a full open jaw just by varying how quickly I hit the control (or how long I hold it down). Pupils move only within the visible range of the eye squares. Don't have to worry about moving it too far to one side.

The sound from the board is about the same as what the manual board creates. When the servos are turned on there is a hum, but it is undectable even up close. No interference from my wireless mike.

It set up in seconds and packs just as fast.

The control unit is extremely intuitive. I walked all over the room operating the board while speaking into my wirelss headset without any problems at all.
