The vent style characters will be operated by a tiny control (like you would beep your car doors with). On stage with you the puppet always looks alive automatically active "Auto-Alive" and slightly moving, watching you, your audience and your show. When you want to control him, just push one button to "look over at you" - or "at your audience" and the next to "move it's mouth"! Then when you are finished with this puppet speaking, return it to it's "Auto-Alive" state. We progam the characters so they support what you are doing on stage. When you don't need them to be in animated action doing something, they watch you!
Then when you need to have the character talk with you, or react to you....you control it! It makes your show look BIGGER because you have an additional personality on stage with YOU IN THE STARRING ROLE.

This exclusive feature is available in both the above Axtell Remote Control Vent & Magic versions. It keeps the character looking alive on stage! It will never look dead like some other remote characters do when they are not being controlled. You can leave them un-attended on stage while you do something else in your show!
Now you can go on to a magic trick, or pick up another vent character in their show, while it watches you!
It can be switched to LEFT, CENTER or RIGHT dominant positions, so you can work with the character on either side of you or directly toward your audience.

There is a NEW feature I have not mentioned for the VENT VERSION! This should get you very excited. Up to now, your understanding is that with VENT there is only the live action and no programming. However, I have worked with Ron to add in for you the MotorMouth feature!
There is no "Hands-Free Control System" with the VENT as you know it is just the puppet, the stand and the key fob. However, the Vent puppet now has an audio input jack and you can plug an mp3 player (you provide) into it and play a pre-recorded mp3 that you have made. You use a stereo Y connector coming out of the player and left goes into the puppet and right goes out to your sound system. Because of the magic of our MotorMouth mode, the mouth movements of the puppet will automatically synch to the voice on the left channel of the mp3, and the body will move in auto-alive. You can set the body for left - center - right dominance...your choice.
This opens up a lot of possibilities for users of the Hands-Free VENT puppets....
The VENT key fob is designed for simplicity on stage. A ventriloquist needs to be able to hide the control in his or her hand with very few buttons to push, so they do not have to look at it. With the VENT key fob you will have control over these actions:

Head Rotate Position 2
Auto-Alive On / Off (with 3 dominant positions choices).
Auto-Alive on the VENT puppets expands the movements that the puppet can make by including these:
Head Up and Down
Head Tilt side to side
Body lean left to right

Plug in an MP3 player and use MOTORMOUTH!
You can play an mp3 with a pre-recorded voice and the puppet is fully automatically moving to the voice on the mp3. This might sound counter-productive because you are a vent, and the voice should come from you, but this gives you alternative ways to use it to make income without you having to operate it! Set up the puppet in a Mall, or in front of a store, or at a trade show booth and you can sell your robot services to corporations. Pre-record a sales message or greeting, setup the puppet press play and earn some money on the side as it pitches the company's products. In fact the puppet on it's own could be talking about your ventriloquist show. Calling out your web address, phone number, etc. You'll have to think outside the box, and as you do, you will see more possible income paths to follow with this, besides just vent. The movement of the body is automatic (Auto-Alive) and not as sophisticated as real programming like the MAGIC verision but this gives you something to use in an automated mode.
Use a Wireless Microphone with MOTORMOUTH
Also if you plug a wireless microphone receiver into puppet you can talk live into the microphone and the mouth of the puppet will automatically move to what you are saying! Similar to LIVE and the MAGIC Live mode, this means that you can stand back behind a crowd and be the live voice (not recorded) of the puppet. The body will be automatically moving in auto-alive mode, and the mouth is triggering to your voice because of MotorMouth. You could have your tiny mic on your shirt collar like a secret agent does, and sit somewhere off to the side drinking coffee. While the puppet talks to the crowd live. "Who bought you that shirt?"..."Wow is that your wife or your daughter?".... If someone looks at you, you are just reading the newspaper or drinking coffee. Not operating a big Remote Control transmitter. ...in fact nothing in your hands at all (not even the key fob)...because the mouth is automatically triggering from your voice.
Just to clarify, even without using MotorMouth you could still entertain a crowd in secret by using the key fob and a wireless mic and operate the puppet just like you would on stage, moving the mouth button manually, and turning the head back and forth between two preset positions, then going to Auto-Alive like you normally do if you want, but this is an alternative with no manual control using the key fob at all. Just a microphone & motor mouth.
With either of these set ups, there is going to need to be a speaker near the puppet in a box with the wireless mic receiver (or the mp3 player) and a wire running up the stand into the input in the puppet.
Of course you don't have to use these features, they come free with the VENT puppet. It just is that you now get more than you thought you were getting!
