MIC-MOUTH ROCKS! I performed my first show with my new Axtell's Mic Mouth. Fantastic product Steve! The freedom it gives me to run around and "interview" people is liberating. I put it behind my back each time to enhance the reveal in front of their faces each time....
This kind of audience interaction was just not possible when I was restricted to using ventrilo-masks and eliminates the wasted time to put them on...

I got mine, I have a million ideas running through my head. I do not do a vent act, but a magic show. And I happen to be able to do vent. I sometimes get the kid up that is jumping up and down to help, but when I get them up, they will not talk. So I can pull this out and make them talk. Sometimes a kid cannot decide what kind of balloon animal they want, so I will have them say "I want a pink poodle, Mr. Magician"
I plan on always carrying this in my magic case, and using it impromptu.
I also do a lot of one and two year old parties. Sometimes I get the kid's mom to sit on a stool, hold them, and help in the show, as the guest of honor. Now they can talk. The baby can say "I want a new sports car, mommy" and I can make the mom answer. "Okay sweetheart, anything you want!" After a do a few shows, I could probably write a book on my ideas I come up with.
This is gong to be fun. I have not been excited about a new prop that I can actually use in my show in a long time.

Hey Steve, I am currently on a magic tour where we will be doing 50 shows in 35 days, exciting! I have recently gotten my mic mouth and being VERY comfortable with ad-libing, I LOVE this thing! I use it in my kids shows and adult shows as well,NO MATTER what is said, the prop itself illicit amazing reactions....
...I have discovered a great place to keep the mic mouth during the show that I think will appeal to many magicians and entertainers. The MIC-MOUTH® Story
Steve Axtell came up with his Mic Mouth in 2002 and made a prototype but didn't manufacture it because of the company's many other projects and wanting to modify the original cable control concept. There it lay in the pages of his many notebooks waiting for its time. A few years ago customer & ventriloquist John Kimmons told Steve about an idea he had that was basically the same mic concept. Steve shared his history and drawings and he began considering putting it in production. While researching it further, Steve then saw another Axtell customer Japanese ventriloquist Ikkokudou already was using a similar microphone prop that had a nice direct hand held control that Steve liked.
Together Ikkokodou and Axtell combined the ideas and now Axtell Expressions proudly presents the"MIC MOUTH" for use by entertainers around the world!

Since then, we've seen a few other versions, one on a Chinese talent show and comedy magician Ed Alonzo
