Ventriloquist Tristan Hostetter came to Axtell with the idea of turning our cheese puppet into a slice of pizza but I modified the idea like this turning it into a full pie..... It's really cool.
I’d like to talk to Pizza Boy and ask him how his Aunt Chovies doing., Rick Means
Now, that's Italian! I would love to hear his accent! Momma Mia!
Another handling method! Several have suggested using a fake hand on the box, but this solves that 100%! Check this out from Steve Petra!
Tristan Hostetter - suggested the idea of talking Pizza Slice to us. We took it from there!
It'd be neat just to be able to pull off a piece of pepperoni or other topping, Matt Bailey
You could palm a real slice of dry pepperoni in your hand and you can pretend to "pull it off him" and actually eat it! Steve Axtell
As you're putting away the box he challenges you to a fight 'Hey, you want a piece of me?!' You can pull a slice of pepperoni from the box while it's almost closed as he screams 'It's only a figure of speech!' Steve Petra
I had an idea for pulling off a red sponge ball (call it pepperoni) and going into a small magic routine with that (You could cut a sponge ball into thin pepperoni size slices using the center diameter ). Tristan Hostetter
He does have a meatball nose. You could do the multiplying meatballs leaving the box laying flat but open when he wants his nose back, you continue to appear meatballs and dumping them in the box ( Duane Laflin's continuous sponge ball technique. ) Steve Petra
Give it an Italian accent for an Italian Pizza

The Pizza Pokey (Pizza Song) by Steve Schieszer.
You put the sauce on, you take the sauce off, you put the sauce on, and you shake it all about. You do the Pizza Pokey and you turn yourself around, that what pizzas all about.
You put the cheese on, you take the cheese off, you put the cheese on and you shake it all about. You do the Pizza Pokey and you turn yourself around. That's what pizzas all about.
You put the pepperoni on, you take the pepperoni off, you put the pepperoni on and you shake it all about. You do the Pizza Pokey and you turn yourself around. That's what pizzas all about.
You put the sausage on, you take the sausage off, you put the sausage on and you shake it all about. You do the Pizza Pokey and you turn yourself around. That's what pizzas all about.
You put the black olives on, you take the black olives off, you put the black olives on and you shake it all about. You do the Pizza Pokey and you turn yourself around, that's what pizzas all about.
You put the mushrooms on, you take the mushrooms off, you put the mushrooms on and you shake it all about. You do the Pizza Pokey and you turn yourself around. That's what pizzas all about.
You put the pineapple on, you take the pineapple off, you put the pineapple on and you BAKE it all about. You do the Pizza Pokey and you turn yourself around. That's the end of this song!

This last verse is different then all the previous, as "bake" is added instead of shake. Plus, "That's the end if this song" instead of "That's what pizzas all about."
When the song gets to "turn yourself around", the puppet in the pizza box is turned clockwise, each time.
The vent/puppeteer can pretend/act like they are putting the ingredients on, taking it off, and putting it back on.
The song can be made longer or shorter by adjusting the number of ingredients.
The youth:adults know the song. On the inside of the pizza box lid, the order is written, printed on paper, taped inside.
