Idea - The wise owl is a standard dramatic role you can play off of. Perhaps an absent minded owl, or a nutty professor owl.

You can put round horn rim glasses on him to make him look smart

Idea - Remeber the old TV commercial (they are running it again on Nick at Nite) "How many bites does it take to get to the inside of a Tootsie Pop? A One - a Two - a Three (bite crunch) ....a Three!"

Idea - Use him in a school show as the symbol of education. Put a graduation cap on him and pin a scroll under his wing. He could make a boring speech about history or any subject getting major facts wrong and the kids have to yell out corrections. He is indignant to the correction saying .... "that's what I said" etc.
