These are all professional routines, music and sound effects. All produced by Axtell Entertainment. Each of the CDs contains a complete routine including sound effects and music as well as the character's voice. (You use your own voice to speak during the routine!)
Non-ventriloquists If you are not a vent - AxTrax routines will help you entertain with our puppets! Just learn your lines - and perform your part live - interacting with the prerecorded routines! The characters voice is on the CD. You learn your lines by listening to the rehearsal track and reading the script. Then you perform with the performance track, which does NOT have your voice on it - only the puppets! You use your own voice on stage and interact with the CD while performing the puppet's movements!
For Ventriloquists too! We have put all the music and sound effects separately on each CD as well, so you can perform these great routines by using all your own voices!

These routines are not specific to a bird puppet, or a human etc. These routines are "wide-open" to work with almost any character in our catalog! There is no reference to the puppet's looks, species or sex...just a very funny routine between you and the puppet. They focus on situation comedy that is broad enough to be able to include almost any character that will fit any one of our 5 pre-recorded voices. If you can't find a voice match for your puppet in the 5 available, or already have a character voice you do, our AxTrax Wide Open music & sound effects are available seperately on the CD for you to produce your own recording in your own character voice! The possible solutions are endless..

How's Your Day?
You ask your puppet how their day has gone. They reply that it's been just the same old boring day like any other day, that is until you ask a few more questions! Your character takes you on a wild, crazy adventure as you probe deeper. Packed with sound effects and the song "Today Was Just Like Any Other Day".
Your puppet is tired of entertaining and wants to go out into the world and get a "real" job! You discuss some different jobs with them (each with job-related sound effects) and they soon realize after some exhausting calamities, that this job of entertaining isn't bad after all! Features a mini-song "If I Could Do Anything, What Would I Be?".
A funny birthday party routine with lots of talk about parties, gifts and cake! The puppet however has a bad habit of singing at the wrong times! Features a Birthday Rap song.
A Christmas show full of singing! Similar to our very popular previous AxTrax "Christmas Bird" routine (for Vern only) we have now made it "Wide Open" for all puppets! The puppet is supposed to sing "Jingle Bells" but continually forgets the words. You have to help them with each phrase and finally..they get it...WRONG! (Note: we have another CD called Christmas Bird that also has just the Goofy voice for a bird singing Jingle bells. This CD "Jingle Bells" is the Wide open version with 5 voices to choose from)
The puppet tries to do the show you have planned but can't because they are "SO HUNGRY!". You try and try to get back on track but it's impossible! Nothing you try will work. Features the song, "I'm So Hungry!".

Stop the Hiccups!
One of our most popular previous Vern AxTrax is now Wide-Open after many requests! Now any puppet can do this hilarious routine. The puppet takes a drink of your water and gets the hiccups. You try everything, a bag, hypnotism and finally you SCARE them! It works...but now YOU get the hiccups!
Freatures the song "I Love to Sing". (Note: We also have a bird CD called simply "Hiccups" with just the Goofy bird voice on it. This CD "Stop the Hiccups" has 5 voices on it and is a different routine.)
Boo! Halloween Trick-or-Treat Safety!
The Puppet comes out wearing a mask, trying to scare you with a "Boo!" Full of great spooky sound effects, this routine shows your puppet excited to go out trick or treating, but you are able to teach all the safety tips to have a SAFE Halloween. Includes a spooky funny song too, packed with halloween fun!
Reading is a Treasure!
The Puppet comes out reading a book! You try to move the book but he follows it, up down above. (very funny)...finally you close the book and the hilarious comedy begins as the puppet begs you to finish the page, but you finally re-direct him to sing a song...and he sings.....ABOUT THE BOOK! Really encourages reading.
OUCH! Bicycle Safety!
The Puppet comes out wearing a bandage on it's head. You find out he fell off a bike and you start to teach him some helmet safety points but the puppet keeps interrupting you thinking it knows everything you are going to say. Finally after several points (hands on the handlebars, wear a helmet, etc. the puppet sings a funny song.

Excited About Easter! (Gospel AxTrax Wide Open)
This routine starts out with the puppet so excited they just go nuts singing a song "I'm so excited"....You ask why they are so excited and the puppet makes you guess! You reluctantly go along with the game, guessing this or that incorrectly. The puppet continues to interrupt you by singing the songs a few times, until finally you come to realize they are excited about Easter! Not just the eggs and candy but the true Easter story of Jesus.

"THE SMOKE SMELLER" a fire prevention routine for Dusty the Dragon. He thinks he's the only smoke smeller alive and is devastated when you show and demonstrate a household smoke detector. The fun begins when you build up his self-esteem and he helps you explain fire safety! Co-written by Steve Axtell and Ken Landsberg, Fire Education Specialist. (Note - we use the "GOOFY VOICE" in our AxTrax Wide Open CDs, so you can use Dusty with any of those funny routines as well as with this Fire Education routine!)

"ACHES and PAINS" This old guy has MANY problems, and he let's you know about ALL of them. You try to help him and give him advice to see a Dr. Twice he breaks into a funny song "Aches and Pains". Finally he takes a pill (a great routine in itself) and he immediately thinks he's well! He shows off his stretching exercises and gets himself all twisted up into a ball!

"The LORD'S PRAYER" (Church workers) This forgetful lion has a bunch of songs that he sings to remember things, but they are all silly! Like "Breathe in, Breathe out" or "I'm a Lion"! You just about give up on him until he tells you he has a song to remember the Lord's Prayer! Wow! That's even hard for YOU to do. He teaches you and the audience a very fun rap song to help us all remember! Real Fun!

, I received Steve Axtell's NEW Axtrax CD for my Axtell Drawing Board. I've done ART-O-MATIC and yes its a good script but I was looking for one I could use that was more educational. This CD talks about, in a funny way, Harry Houdini. It's perfect for a library show, Daycare/Preschool children and your School Shows. It is well designed and easier to learn than ART-O-MATIC. The reactions of the kids are the same with most of the Axtrax CDs. Lots of surprises and laughter. Houdini even does a funny trick.
If you have already done ART-O-MATIC, than the transition to Houdini is easy.
I have "Walzing Matildia" (The simple easy to do dancing hank) and use it with the cloth and it adds to the end. It's a slight change enhancing the disappearance of Houdini. For the 14.95 Steve is asking, it is an inexpensive funny routine. If you don't do the drawing board, you are missing out on a great Kid Show routine. I love it, and highly recommend it.
