CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT - WANLU

My name is Wanlu Lunaria and I just turned 40 years old in March 30 this year. I'm married and I have 7 children and God willing, it will soon be eight, my wife is now 4 months pregnant.

I am one of the 4 founding fathers of the biggest and only Magicians' Foundation in Manila- The Magicians' Foundation Inc (MAGFI). It is also the first International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) ring in the Philippines, IBM Ring 322 and the only IBM Ring in Asia bestowed with the IBM Superior Quality Ring Award aside from Singapore.

I have been doing magic since 1988 specializing in
kiddie birthday parties. My act includes comedy and
stage magic. By 2003, I started doing stage Illusions
in my act. Illusions my friend Lou Hilario made for
me.

By August of 2006, a friend of mine who eventually
became one of my mentors in ventriloquism Ony Carcamo
sold me a used Axtell Vinyl Orangutan and I instantly
fell in love with it. The Axtell Orangutan was the
vent bug for me. I played with it everyday until I
finally had the courage to try ventriloquism in one of
my parties. I remember trying it for the first time
and I bombed and almost gave up. But every time I look
at the face of the orangutan, it was telling me that I
can make it work in my act.

So I tried it again and it was my 8 year old son then,
Gabby who was cheering me telling me that the
orangutan is really funny. The second attempt was not
bad but the third attempt was the turning point...the
kids were all laughing and shouting and they enjoyed
every minute of my act with Gonzo my Axtell Orangutan.
Since then, I have never performed without an Axtell
puppet.

Eventually, my Axtell family grew. I have added more
characters. Aside from the Axtell Orangutan, I now
have the Seal, Turtle, Rooster, Cockatoo, Storyteller,
Cry Baby and Big Baby. I also have the Remote Drawing
board, and the Special FX Drawing Board which was my
very first Axtell product that I ordered from you
almost twenty years ago when I was still starting out
as a Magician.

My current Axtell family also includes a brand new
Axtell Orangutan given to me for FREE by James, Angie
and Judy Kernen. I have no idea why they gave it to me
for free but I am certainly grateful. James told me
that it was his daughter Judy who chose me..."thanks
Judy!" In the near future when I already have an
Axtell Hands Free Orangutan, the vinyl orangutan will
be handed out for free to a new vent courtesy of the
Kernens. Mat 10:8 ... freely ye have received, freely
give.

The Axtell puppets and magic props have helped me make
a name for myself as far as the local Magic and
Ventriloquism scene in the Philippines is concerned. I
now have my own signature act that I call
Ventrillusion- Visual and Voice Illusions. This act
involves my stage illusions and of course my Axtell
family.

I can't imagine my act without my Axtell puppets...and
since the first time I held an Axtell puppet just over
a year ago, there isn't a day that I don't play with
them. I end my day playing with them in front of the
mirror...each and everyone of them. It relieves me of my
stress and it makes me feel like a child again.

I love my Axtell puppets...and on behalf of my family
and the thousand of vents worldwide using your Ax
puppets and props, Id like to say "Thanks Ax"... we owe
Steve Axtell and Axtell Expression a debt of gratitude
for making all these great characters.
